This four manual 1925 Wurlitzer console was restored in the California Theatre.
Originally installed with the 28-rank organ in the Uptown Theatre in Chicago,
it now plays the 21-rank California Theatre organ.
In the top photo the console is on front stage elevator ready for its first pre-movie concert (December 2004). In second photo above console is in the basement where it was played with the opera orchestra in Opera San Jose's performances of Tosca (November 2004) and Roméo et Juliette (September 2006).
