Balloons did not fly on
Friday, the first day of the Montague faire.
The morning began with an partial overcast and
moderate wind that delayed the lift-off for an hour or so.
The wind died down and the flights were to go; then as balloons
were being inflated winds came up at about 20 mph.
The morning flight was canceled and crews worked furiously to get their
balloons down out of the wind.
