September is a dance for two about a relationship gone wrong. The woman is continually rejected by the man as he turns away from her with expressionless emotion. She runs to him only to be thrown away (over his shoulder, onto the floor, ...). In the end she realizes that her attempts to reconcile are futile, and she, in turn, looks at him and leaves.
